We start with your materials, parts, and labor categories. You define the catalog structure, including units of measure, price tiers, and preferred suppliers. Quantity takeoff can be manual or imported from your own spreadsheets—we do not automate measurement from drawings unless you provide the data. Every estimate line item is traceable to a catalog entry.
Labor and material inputs
Labor estimates depend on your crew composition, productivity assumptions, and local conditions. We build fields for hours, rates, and burden, and we let you set default values per project type. Material inputs include waste factors and delivery charges if you want them. We do not invent productivity rates; you supply them from your experience.
Options, approvals, and revisions
Clients often want choices. We structure estimates with optional line items that can be toggled on or off, and we track which options were presented. Approvals are built as a workflow: a draft goes to a reviewer, who can approve or request changes. Every revision is saved as a new version, so you can see what changed and who changed it.
