MVP Development in Tucson

We help you turn an idea into a testable product. We focus on the riskiest assumptions, build the smallest coherent release, and set up a measurement plan. No market-validation guarantees—just a clear path to learning.

Hypothesis and Scope Definition

We start by writing down the core hypothesis: who the user is, what problem they have, and what behavior we expect them to exhibit. We then list the riskiest assumptions—the ones that, if wrong, would make the product pointless. Scope is defined by what is needed to test those assumptions, not by feature wishlists. We document what is explicitly out of scope and why.

Smallest Coherent Release

We design the smallest version of the product that a user can complete a meaningful task with. This is not a prototype or a wireframe—it is a functioning application with real data flow. We make deliberate tradeoffs between prototype speed and production quality. For example, we might use a managed backend service or a simple file-based store if that gets us to testing faster. We document every tradeoff in a technical debt record.

Measurement Plan and Feedback Loop

Before release, we define the signals that would inform the next decision, such as activation, task completion, or qualitative feedback. Instrumentation and feedback channels are scoped to the hypothesis, while sampling, consent, data quality, and interpretation limits remain visible.

Next-Step Decision and Iteration

After the MVP is live and data is collected, we hold a decision meeting. We review the metrics, the feedback, and the technical debt record. We then recommend one of three paths: iterate (build more features), pivot (change the hypothesis), or stop (kill the product). We document the reasoning behind the recommendation so you can make an informed choice. We do not push you to continue if the data says otherwise.

What the engagement can produce

Practical deliverables

Assumption Register

A list of all assumptions with a rating of how risky each is, and what evidence would confirm or deny it.

MVP Scope Document

A one-page description of the features included, the features excluded, and the user journey that the MVP supports.

Measurement Dashboard

A simple dashboard showing the key metrics you care about, updated automatically from the MVP's event logs.

Technical Debt Register

A running list of shortcuts taken, with a note on when each should be revisited if the product survives.
